Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 October 2026
This Cookie Policy explains which storage technologies EXPODOGs uses on inscripciones.expodogs.es, what they are used for and how you can manage your preferences.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website may store in the user's browser or device. They can be used to maintain a session, remember preferences or, where applicable and with consent, perform statistical measurements.
2. Cookies and storage identified in EXPODOGs
The following list is based on the EXPODOGs code currently reviewed. Advertising or third-party analytics cookies are not included because they have not been identified in the reviewed code.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
PHPSESSID | Necessary / technical | Maintains the PHP session, including user identification and secure operation of the different pages. | Session, unless the PHP server is configured otherwise. | EXPODOGs |
expodogs_lang | Technical preference | Remembers the language determined for displaying EXPODOGs. | 1 year | EXPODOGs |
expodogs_lang_manual | User-requested preference | Remembers the language expressly selected by the user. | 1 year | EXPODOGs |
expodogs_cookie_consent_v1 | Necessary local storage | Stores the choice made in the consent manager so it is not requested on every visit and the selected preferences can be applied. | Until the user deletes browser storage or the consent version is replaced. | EXPODOGs |
Legacy EXPODOGs code has also been identified that may use a cookie named lang to remember the language for one year. This is a preference cookie and may appear while pages using that previous logic remain active.
3. Necessary cookies
Strictly necessary cookies enable basic site functions such as maintaining the session, managing user access and retaining options requested by the user. These technologies are not used for advertising.
4. Preference cookies
EXPODOGs uses mechanisms to remember the language. When the preference results from an explicit user choice, its purpose is to retain that selection for future visits.
5. Analytics and advertising cookies
In the files reviewed to prepare this policy, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Pixel and other third-party advertising or tracking cookies have not been identified. EXPODOGs is therefore not attributed cookies in these categories without technical evidence.
If a measurement, advertising or third-party content service that installs non-essential cookies is added in the future, EXPODOGs must update this policy and block those cookies until the user has given the corresponding consent.
6. Consent management
Where optional technologies exist, users may accept, reject or configure them. Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent normal access to the website, except for functions that legitimately depend on a technology requested by the user.
7. How to withdraw or change consent
Consent for optional technologies can be changed or withdrawn at any time through the Manage cookies link or button. Cookies and stored data can also be deleted through browser settings.
8. Third-party cookies and external links
EXPODOGs contains links that may lead to third-party websites. After leaving EXPODOGs, cookies used by those websites are governed by their own policies. An external link does not itself mean that EXPODOGs installs cookies from the linked website.
9. Updates to this policy
This policy may be updated when the technologies used, their purposes, duration or applicable legal requirements change. The update date will be shown at the beginning of the document.
10. Additional information
For privacy and data protection matters, please also consult the EXPODOGs legal notice and privacy policy when available on the website.
